Day Boat Hire

We do not hire boats for the day, but you may find the following useful.

If you have thought about taking a canal boat holiday but are not sure if you would like it then a day boat hire is the ideal way to find out. Hiring a canal boat for the day not only gives you a taster it is also a great way to 'learn the ropes'. You don't need any canal boating experience or qualifications and you will receive full instructions on how to operate the canal boat. Hiring a canal boat for the day gives you the chance to experience the benefits of canal boat hire.

Hiring a canal boat for the day offers you the opportunity to see the wildlife up close and to explore the area at your own leisurely pace. Celebrate your special occasion with something a little bit different the canal boats are perfect for family parties, stag or hen events, get togethers or reunions.

Hiring a canal boat for the day is the perfect way to introduce the children to the wonders of canal boating. Depending on the route they can help with the locks and bridges and even, with adult supervision, have a go a steering the canal boat.
