Starting from Cowley offers the opportunity to cruise into central London, or alternatively, away from the Capital through the beautiful Chiltern Hills. Little Venice, Regent’s Park and London Zoo are all easily accessible from the canals. For a more rural escape, travel through the scenic countryside and visit the attractive villages and historic market towns such as King’s Langley and Berkhamsted.

  • Directions By Road
    From the M4: Exit at Junction 4 (Signposted A408 Uxbridge). Follow signs for Uxbridge and West Drayton. When you arrive at traffic lights at a T-junction, West Drayton is signposted to your left and A408 Cowley to your right. Turn right. Continue along this road for 1 mile until you come to the Paddington Packet Boat Pub and a sign for the Turning Point Pub on your left. Turn left. Follow the road up over the hump-back bridge. Packet Boat Marina entrance is about 100 metres beyond the bridge on the left.
  • Directions By Rail
    From London (Paddington Station) take the train to West Drayton. Weekdays and Saturdays trains depart every 30 minutes and journey time is approximately 25 minutes. Either take a taxi (5 minutes) or the 222 bus to Packet Boat Lane. Alternatively, from Kings Cross St. Pancras, take the London Underground Metropolitan Line to Uxbridge. Journey time approximately 55 minutes. Either take a taxi (5-10 minutes) or take the 222 bus to Packet Boat Lane (15 minutes). There is a bus stop at the Paddington Packet Boat public house.
